We’ll unpack your whole home or your choice of detailed areas such as your kitchen or primary clothing closets. Unpacking services include organizing with the same care we offer in our Signature Services.

  • Break down boxes and remove trash to garage or trash rooms

For unpacking services, we offer 6 hour sessions in teams of two or more organizers, depending on the size of the home or area to be unpacked.

FAQ’s

  • No. Some of our clients work alongside us but most do not. We know you are busy and hire us to do it for you!

  • No. Many of our clients are not home when we are organizing. If we have questions along the way, we typically text with pictures. At the end of the session we will send you photos of the completed areas and check in for your approval. We will fix or change according to your preferences and requests.

  • No. We like to see your home exactly as you are living in it to learn more about what is working and what is not. Please no worries, because we are humans just like you and don’t expect perfection. We’re not perfect! Our goal is to make your life easier, not cause you stress.

  • We may recommend products that could improve your space and make your life easier. Our process is to send you a list of recommended products with pricing usually sourced from Amazon or The Container Store. Sometimes we send multiple options for you to decide which items you like better. You can buy these and have them delivered to your home. We can place these as we organize or come back to your home to place them after the main organizing session.

  • Of course, time can vary but in our first phone call or at a consultation we will give you an estimated range of hours.

    Time to complete each project may vary by number of (volume) of items in the area to be organized, the number of organizers working on the project, the current state of organization and the desired state of organization to be completed, time the client takes in making decisions about items to keep or discard and client participation in the process.
    We make every effort to be accurate, however we provide an estimate and not a guarantee of time or fees for a project.

    -Luxury Organizers

    -Organizers who specialize in chronic disorganization, ADHD and hoarding disorder

    We'd like to be clear about our qualifications.

    Our goal at Spruce Organizing Co is to make your life easier! We are functional organizers. (Certified Home Organizer® with ASPO) So, we will help clear your clutter, find the best place for every item in your home and help create systems to make your space flow better. We can also upgrade the look of your spaces with placement and products. (Yes! Your closets can be colored coded, have matching hangers and lovely baskets and your pantry can having matching bins!)

    We are not “luxury” organizers (think Kardashian closets and pantries) because we believe that striving for perfection does not make your life easier and causes harm.

    We are not qualified to work with people who are struggling with letting go of items, have excessive clutter or redundant items, are on the hoarding scale or who have chronic disorganization. There are excellent organizers in our area to help with this! Please check out the ICD (Institute for Challenging Disorganization) for a referral.

  • You can be sure it’s not. What’s amazing is that everyone (from penthouse to rowhouse) thinks their house is the worst. It’s completely subjective and even emotional. Of course, you may feel that way, but we never see it that way. Our only goal and true mission is to help you feel better about the home that you are in and make it a functional, easy place to live in.
